I was a visiting artist at Maumee Valley Country Day School in Toledo, Ohio. This was the school I attended from the 4th grade to Senior year. It was a real treat to be able to participate in the school as an instructor. I was helping out the art teacher for a week as part of a month-long intensive focused on photography.
I came in during the second week, after they had learned the basics of photography, to discuss and help landscape and portrait photography. I brought my Hasselblad 501cx (a workhorse I've had for over 20 years) and joined them on their excursions through downtown Toledo and Swan Creek Metropark. I also made a portrait of each of the students. Here are the images from that week.
